QR Code Analytics

When someone scans a QR code created through Scanlytics, we collect:

• Geographic location (country, region, city) - derived from IP address
• Device type (mobile, tablet, desktop)
• Browser and operating system
• Timestamp of scan
• Referrer URL (if available)

Important: We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) from QR code scanners. We use cookieless tracking - no third-party cookies are used.

• To provide and maintain our service

• To provide analytics and insights about your QR code performance
• To improve our service and develop new features

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Our infrastructure is designed for security, reliability, and compliance.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Analytics data retention varies by plan:

• Free: 30 days
• Starter: 1 year
• Pro: 3 years
• Business/Enterprise: Unlimited

You can request deletion of your data at any time through the Settings page or by contacting us.

6. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to:

• Access - Request a copy of your data
• Rectification - Correct inaccurate data
• Erasure - Request deletion of your data
• Portability - Export your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out - Disable analytics tracking for your QR codes
